Who We Are
At Sweet Virginia Cavaliers, located in Spotsylvania County, Virginia, we are a dedicated preservation breeder with a deep love for the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Our focus is on improving the breed’s health, longevity, and temperament through careful, ethical breeding practices.
We follow the AKC breed standard and conduct thorough health testing on all our dogs to ensure each puppy is given the best possible start. While not every puppy is destined for the show ring, each one is raised to be a happy, well-rounded companion, full of the charm and affection that make Cavaliers so beloved.
Our commitment goes beyond breeding. We’re here to educate, support, and connect with families across Virginia and the US who share our passion for this remarkable breed.

At Sweet Virginia Cavaliers, the health and well-being of our dogs is at the heart of everything we do. We are dedicated to preserving the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel through ethical, health-focused breeding practices that prioritize both longevity and quality of life.
All of our breeding dogs are thoroughly screened by veterinary specialists and must be cleared for:

Heart (by a board-certified cardiologist)

Patellas (to ensure proper joint function)
We hold the stud dogs we work with to the same high standards. Every pairing is carefully planned with the goal of producing healthy, well-tempered puppies that embody the best of the breed.
